It's not even the fact that we lost, or even that we lost 5-1. It was the manner of the defeat, so tactically inept and Clarke seemed inflexible and clueless as to how to change it. Most of our players looked timid, even fearful. Not even a single shot at goal. I have lost a lot confidence and belief in this team and it's coach. It will take a huge effort to turn this around.

The man’s tactics are just pure trash….nothing changed in the team on the field at all……we knew we would get thumped by Germany as they are one of the best teams in the World….so try something different for the 1st game and then use that to take into the 2nd and 3rd games……so looks like a thumping again in the last 2 games….defending defending and defending isn’t going to work at this level

Got to be honest, i’ve been away with Scotland, but see this ‘ only here for the party’ rubbish. I’m at home with 5 million other scots, who are not happy at all, and want to see us play better than that at the very least. No substitutions were going to change what happened on Friday. Have a good time, but getting out the group is our target.

Scotland has the best marketing department which has duped millions. They are now unfortunately embarrassing their people. Europe is laughing at us. There is a kind of mass delirium when it comes to the national team. Reality is we are not and never have been a good team by any metric. Reality check is Scotland players are high payed professionals (allegedly) and played like amateurs. Manager has been sleeping on the job and should be sacked for letting performances slip to that level.

Players knew within 10 minutes the set up was all wrong and the manager tactically got found out plus the leaders on the pitch didn’t do anything to try and stem the issues. Full backs couldn’t get forward because we had no midfield, because we had no midfield the centre halves sat deep, Kroos just ran about at will, spread the ball wide, got to byline and cut ball to 18 yard box with no centre halves to challenge them due to being so deep. And ffs why keep trying to play out from back when clearly we couldn’t do it? A good manager with options could change things but sadly, we’ve not many other options so it’s change like for like at every turn.

Scotland appeared to want to become the first team to finish 3rd in a football match.
